Our mission is provide a spiritual,cultural, and exciting pilgrimage emphasizing the life of St. Peter Claver. Explore his birth place, his culture, and his faith with us as we journey through the early years of the life of St. Peter Claver.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Day 1 – US Departure.

Overnight Flight to Barcelona. Standard Departure DFW International Airport

Additional departure cities possible with 10 passengers or more.*

Day 3 – Day-trip to Verdu & Montserrat!

First we head to VERDU, the birthplace of St. Peter Claver. Visit the famed VERDU CASTLE and THE CHURCH OF SANTA MARIA .

Visit MONTSERRAT , one of Spain’s most important pilgrimage sites for hundreds of years due to its famous 12th-century Romanesque carving of the Virgin Morenita (Black Virgin). Also see the impressive MUSEUM located inside and participate in a LIQUOR TASTING that includes handmade liquors made by the monks of the monastery.

Day 4 – Relax in Barcelona.

The rest of your time is at leisure to relax or finish exploring.

Return to Barcelona where guided sightseeing includes the city center’s Plaza Catalunya and Paseo de Gracia to admire Gaudi’s eccentric Houses Batlló and Milà, as well as his SAGRADA FAMILIA, an unfinished architectural masterpiece that is still a consecrated expression of the Catholic faith. (Breakfast)

Day 6 – The Sights of Rome

This morning, visit with monumental ST. PETER’S SQUARE and attend the PAPAL AUDIENCE for the chance to see the Pope and receive the Papal Blessing. Visit ST. PAUL OUTSIDE THE WALLS, one of Rome’s four major Papal basilicas built by Constantine on the grave of St. Paul and explore the mysterious ancient CATACOMBS that run under the city.

Next, visit ST. JOHN LATERAN BASILICA and the HOLY STAIRS, brought from Jerusalem to Rome around 326 AD. Then, visit the hallowed halls of ST. MARY MAJOR BASILICA, its beautiful treasures are of inestimable value, and represent the Church’s role as the cradle of Christian artistic civilization in Rome.

*Room bookings are based upon per person/ double occupancy (twin bed) accommodations as standard. Under certain circumstances, the company (206 tours and its partners) reserves the right to alter routes, time schedules, itineraries, or accommodations if necessity warrants such a change.

What if I have to cancel, is my money refundable?

Yes, your deposits and payments are refundable up to the key date for Final payment for full amount due by June 22, 2018 as noted in the deadlines. If a refund is requested, you lose your slot in the queue and are subject to availability. The next available person will be given your slot in queue. Travel Trip insurance is included in the cost of the trip.

How much extra money should I bring to cover the meals not included?

Lunches are not included in the base price. Dinners (with the exception for the 2 welcome dinners) are also not included.

The tour agenda will allow time to eat lunch as the locals do.The estimated daily Meals and Incidental Expenses (M&IE) excluding breakfast for Barcelona is from $28 (USD) to $50 (USD) per day. For Rome, the M&IE is around $61 (USD) to $147 (USD) per day. Local cafes and resturaunts will be aplenty and most are right around the corner.

How much extra money should I bring for souvenirs and shopping?

The amounts are up to you. Best we can say is that there will be time for shopping but save some money to book our next group travel destination.

Do I need a Passport?

Yes.

What about medications and my physical condition to prepare for the trip?

Even though we are only traveling for 8 days you should ensure you have medications to last and any extra doctors RX as needed for any medications in event you run out. This trip, as many do in Europe, requires a lots of walking and standing. Even though we will have the convenience of our own tour bus, good physical condition and balance are recommended.

COVID-19 Requirements: We will make all traveler adhere to travel and health restrictions set by our travel destinations. Things to expect would be taking a COVID-19 test before departure, bring extra masks and hand sanitizers. We also encourage all our travels to receive a vaccination to help bring travel back as soon as possible!

Will Clergy be attending as part of the group? What about masses and other religious events?

Yes./Yes.

What about Sponsorship?
